— The mountain professional —
The mountains has been home to my passion and my work for most of my professional career. I am based in Åre, Sweden and in the winters I alternate between being responsible for the avalanche forecast of Södra Jämtland and guiding with ski touring and ice climbing in Scandinavia and the Alps. In the summers, I guide climbing and organize climbing courses.
— IFMGA —
I am a qualified IFMGA Mountain guide. The IFMGA is an international organization that sets standards and promotes the profession of mountain guiding worldwide. The standards of the IFMGA are the highest and most respected on the planet.
— Avalanche safety —
Over the years, I have specialized in work related to avalanche safety. In addition to IFMGA’s requirements for avalanche training for mountain guides, I have training from Canada and Switzerland as well as many years of experience in avalanche forecasting in Sweden and the Alps.
— Sustainability —
All my activities take place with a focus on ecological, economic and social sustainability. Collaboration partners are chosen with care, all travel within the continent takes place by train or electric car if possible. If you have questions about how you can travel climate-smart, I will be happy to help!
